Went from a clipper-over-comb guy to a shear-over-comb guy overnight
For about 3 years I used clippers for nearly every fade I did. Then a barber in Nashville named Roy watched me work and said "you're leaving all the texture on the table." He handed me his shears and showed me how to blend the parietal ridge in 2 passes. Now I use shears for 80% of my blending work. Has anyone else had someone call them out on a method you thought was fine?

Keep your clippers bro, shears take way longer and the average customer can't even tell the difference.
