Took me 6 months to figure out why my fades kept looking muddy

Turned out my clipper blade was loose by like a millimeter, just enough to mess with the taper every time. Anyone else spend way too long chasing a dumb mechanical issue?

That loose clipper blade thing is EXACTLY the kind of issue that drove me crazy for months too. I finally stopped chasing fancy guards and just tightened everything down before every cut, now my tapers come out clean every time. Sometimes the simplest fix is the one you keep ignoring because you think it's too obvious.

Does a clean cut mean the blade gap is actually set right or just that the screws are tight?
