That $150 straight razor I bought... biggest waste of money in 10 years
Spent $150 on a fancy Japanese straight razor last month and it chipped on my third shave. Anyone else ever fall for the expensive tool trap and regret it?

Did you pay full retail too or just get the discount version of disappointment like me? I bought a $200 "heavy duty" toaster last year and it died after three weeks, so now I'm back to using my $15 thrift store special from 2012 that refuses to quit. Honestly, at this point I'm convinced "premium" is just code for "we added a wood grain sticker and charged triple." My wallet's taken enough hits to learn that lesson the hard way.
