Switched to a 000 blade for my last 6 skin fades

I normally use a 0.5 on the lever closed, but tried a 000 open on a guy with really coarse hair. Came out smoother than I've ever gotten, no irritation at all. Any other barbers using a 000 for debulk instead of clipper over comb?

That 000 open is a game changer on coarse hair, I use it the same way now.
