Serious question, how do you handle a client who keeps moving their head?
Had this guy yesterday who just would not stop tilting. I tried the usual 'chin down, look straight' but he kept drifting. Out of ideas, I just put my free hand flat on his shoulder and pressed down gently, not holding his head but just giving a steady point of contact. He stopped moving completely. It was like magic. Has anyone else found a simple trick for the constant head-turner?

Total game changer" is my go-to move, but I just start rambling about my cat.

Wait, he was actually turning his head to watch her tools? Like his whole body was moving with each one she picked up? That's wild to me, I've never heard of someone being that fidgety around a pressure washer or a hose. I mean, I get being curious, but doing a full tennis match head swivel? That would drive me nuts if I were trying to work. Good on her for just jumping straight into dog talk to break the spell, that's smart. My cat would probably just make things worse if I tried it, since most people don't want to hear about how she sits in the sink and judges me.

Oh man, my friend had a client like that last week. She said the guy kept turning to look at her tools, like he was watching a tennis match. She finally just started talking to him about his dog, asking really specific questions, and he got so into telling the story he forgot to move. Total game changer, just getting their mind off the whole thing.
