My old barber in Dallas swore by cold water rinses, I thought he was nuts
Tbh, I laughed when my first mentor said to finish every cut with a cold water rinse to make the hair lay flatter and look thicker. After 3 years of ignoring him, I tried it on a guy with super stubborn cowlicks last Tuesday and honestly the difference was wild. He walked out with a cleaner fade and no weird flyaways, so now I do it on half my clients. Has anyone else actually stuck with that trick or did I just get lucky with one head of hair?

Swear by it now, my own stubborn cowlicks finally behave after a cold rinse every single time.
