Clipper fell in the sink mid haircut yesterday

Busy Saturday at the shop on Grand Ave, was doing a skin fade on a regular. My cordless Wahl slid right off the shelf and plopped into the soapy water I was using for neck strips. Grabbed it quick, took the blade off, dried everything with a blow dryer on low, and it fired right back up. Thank god for sealed motors I guess, has anyone else had a close call like that with water?

Dropped my clippers in a bucket of barbicide once, scared the hell out of me.

My barber buddy told me barbicide actually eats away at the plastic housing over time if you leave it in too long. He had a set of Wahl clippers that started cracking after a few deep soaks.
