Clipper fade on a kid who would not sit still in Tulsa

Last Thursday I had a 7 year old squirming the whole time, took me 45 minutes for a 15 minute fade. I finally told the dad to hold his phone up with a cartoon, made all the difference. Anyone else got tricks for the young ones or do you just accept the chaos?
