Called BS on a barber claiming hot towels make a real difference, but I get it now
I've been cutting hair for about 4 years and always skipped the hot towel part of a haircut. Thought it was just a fancy extra that didn't do much. Last month a client specifically asked for one and I finally caved. The way the hair softened up and the guy's face relaxed was honestly surprising. Anyone else find themselves adding something to their routine they were dead set against?

My buddy swore by cold towels until he tried a hot one and called me up to say he was wrong.

Cold towel drew out the heat but left me shivering. Hot towel opens everything up. @uma896 your buddy figured out the real secret. Stiff neck, sore shoulders, hot compress kills it in minutes. Cold just numbs the pain. Hot actually fixes the tightness.
