Bought a $300 clipper that overheats after 20 minutes - what are you guys using for heavy days?
Picked up a fancy cordless clipper 2 months ago, thought I was treating myself. First heavy Friday with 6 fades back to back and it died mid buzz on the third head. Let it cool, got through the day, but now I'm back to using my old wired Wahl for the thick stuff. Anyone else have a cordless model that can actually handle a busy day without tapping out?

Did you grab the heavy duty clipper or like the standard one that came with the kit? I mean I've got a cordless Andis that runs pretty solid through a full day but it was way more than 300 bucks, and even then I still gotta swap blades sometimes when it gets real hot. What brand you working with?

Nah, I grabbed the standard one that came with it, but I think you're mixing me up with someone else @elliotburns. I just use the basic Wahl corded model, nothing fancy. It gets the job done though.
