Appreciation post: The regular who taught me to slow down with clipper work

Tbh, I had this older guy come in every 3 weeks for a skin fade, always in a hurry, and I used to rush his cut to match his energy. Last month he sat down, looked at my clippers and said, 'son, you're cutting the clock, not my hair,' then tipped me $40 and told me to take the full 45 minutes. Since then I've been pacing every fade like that, and honestly my repeat bookings went up by half. Anyone else had a client drop a line like that that stuck with you?
