Warning: Don't waste $60 on that fancy silicone baking mat set I tried

I bought a 3-pack of those nonstick silicone mats from a kitchen store downtown last month. Thought they’d be great for cookies and bread, but after 4 uses the edges started curling up and the surface got sticky. Lost $60 and had to toss them. Has anyone else had these mats fail on them or is there a brand that actually holds up?

Bought a similar set and they were trash within a week too.

Wow, "after 4 uses the edges started curling up" - that is rough. I mean, I've had cheap kitchen stuff fail before, but four uses? That's just insulting. I would be pretty ticked off too if I dropped sixty bucks and got maybe a week's worth of baking out of it. Honestly, it sounds like those mats just weren't made to last, which is a bummer because the idea is great on paper. Your mileage may vary with any brand, but that quick of a failure makes me wonder if the store sold you something with bad quality control.
