I spent $40 on a fancy cake pan that was a total waste
I bought this bundt pan with a detailed Nordic design, thinking it would make my cakes look amazing. The batter stuck in every single tiny groove, even though I greased and floured it like crazy. I ended up with a crumbled mess that looked nothing like the picture. Has anyone found a trick for these super detailed pans, or should I just stick to the simple ones?

Try a baking spray with flour, it’s the only thing that works for those crazy detailed pans.

Yeah I totally switched to the baking spray with flour after ruining a few pans with butter and flour the old way. It coats every little nook and cranny without leaving lumps or missing spots. I used to think it was a gimmick but now I won't bake without it. Makes a huge difference on pans with lots of detail, totally agree with you there.
