Wasted $40 on a fancy silicone banneton that just stuck to everything
I thought upgrading from my old floured cloth basket would be a game changer, but that silicone one just made my dough glue itself to the sides like a nightmare. Ended up tossing it after 3 tries and went back to my trusty $10 cane basket with rice flour. Anyone else regret splurging on those modern baking gadgets too?

Happens to the best of us. $40's not that much in the grand scheme of baking.

Wait hold on, $40 is a lot for one ingredient if you ask me. @thomas_johnson35 I gotta say I am shocked you can just brush that off like its nothing. That's like a whole trip to the grocery store for a week for some people. Maybe I'm just cheap but that kind of money adds up quick when you're doing this stuff regularly. I would be freaking out if I wasted that much butter or chocolate or whatever it was. Man, baking costs are getting out of hand lately for sure.
