Warning: the elevator panel in my office garage has no order to it at all
Last Tuesday I watched a guy in a suit stand in front of the elevator panel in the parking garage on level P3 for a solid 40 seconds, pressing buttons like he was guessing a safe combo. The floors are listed 1, 4, 2, 7, 3, 5, 6 with the garage levels jammed in between and no arrows or labels to make sense of any of it. The up and down buttons are actually pointing sideways, which I guess is somebody's idea of being clever. Two people missed their floor that morning and one lady just gave up and took the stairs. Has anyone else seen a panel where the buttons were clearly placed by a random number generator?

Wait, the up and down buttons are pointing sideways? That is wild. Like who signs off on that and thinks yep, that makes sense, ship it. I've seen some rough panels in my day but sideways arrows is a whole new level of chaos. That guy pressing buttons like a safe combo is basically all of us in that garage.
