The $40 'space saving' toilet paper holder that needs a full arm extension to reach

I bought this modern looking holder for my small bathroom, thinking it would free up space. It mounts on the wall behind the toilet, which seems smart. The problem is the roll sits a full foot and a half from the edge of the bowl. You have to lean way over, practically hugging the tank, just to grab a square. I spent 40 bucks to do a weird stretch every single day. It's the most over-engineered solution to a simple problem I've ever seen. Has anyone else found a good wall mount that doesn't require you to be a contortionist?

Oh man, I saw a review for one of those! The person called it a "toilet paper trapeze act" and said they gave up and just put the roll on the back of the tank. It's like they design these things without anyone actually trying to use them in a real bathroom. You'd think "how far can the toilet paper be" is a question they'd ask early on. That's a lot of money for a daily hassle.

I used to think those looked cool until I tried one.
