That two hour drywall patch job that turned into a six day nightmare
Last month I had to fix a fist sized hole in a hallway at a rental property in Akron. Figured I'd be in and out in two hours tops. But whoever originally hung the drywall used 1/4 inch stuff instead of regular 1/2 inch, and none of my patches matched up without shimming the whole damn thing. Has anyone else run into a weird material choice that just nuked your timeline?
