That restroom sign at the airport last week made me question everything
I was at SeaTac near gate B9 last Tuesday and the door icon looked more like a person doing a split than a standing figure, so half the line headed for the wrong room. Someone actually walked in and immediately walked out with a confused look, which cracked me up but also made me wonder who approved that graphic in the first place. Do designers even test these things with real humans before they go up, or is it just a free-for-all with silhouettes?

...and honestly I'm the last person who should be judging bathroom signs because I once walked into a family restroom at a movie theater thinking it was the unisex one, so my situational awareness is basically a potato. But yeah, that split-stick figure sounds like it was designed by someone who's never actually had to pee in a hurry. I swear if they made the little person holding a briefcase and wearing high heels I'd still probably guess wrong, because my brain sees any abstract icon and just goes "good luck, champ." Maybe we should just put actual words on the doors and let the silhouettes be purely decorative garnish, you know?
