That grocery store app update from 3 weeks ago is an absolute mess
Went to grab my digital coupons last Tuesday at the Publix on 4th street. New layout put the barcode scanner behind three menu tabs. Had to stand in the aisle for 5 minutes just to pull up my loyalty card. Who approved this navigation flow?

Honestly that 30 second ad with no skip button is the real crime here. Tbh they probably think we're standing in the dairy aisle with nothing better to do than watch their corporate commercial.

Three menu tabs just to scan a coupon sounds about right for those app designers who never actually shop for groceries. Bet the same person who put the checkout button in a dropdown on a websites also works on grocery apps. My favorite part is how the weekly ad now loads as a 30 second video with no skip button. Great job making a simple task feel like solving a Rubik's cube in the dairy aisle.
