That $60 touch lamp now hunts ghosts at 3am
Picked up a touch lamp from a clearance bin in Columbus last month and it looked fine in the store. Got it home, touched the base, and it flickered like a broken strobe light for ten seconds before turning on. Now it randomly turns itself off and on whenever the cat walks near the cord. I tried two different bulbs and even moved it to another outlet, no luck. Anyone else deal with those touch sensors that just decide to act up whenever they feel like it?

Read the sensors die when pets walk by. Maybe unplug it at night.
