Picked the tiny 6 point legal text over a clean 10 point line on a lease form, and the tenant actually thanked me
Last week I had to set the fine print on a two page rental form for a landlord in Erie, and the margin was a nightmare. It came down to squeezing the paragraph into 6 point to keep it on one page, or bumping the whole section to page three at a readable 10 point. I went with 10 point and a third page, half expecting a complaint about the extra paper. The guy signed it, looked up, and said he could actually read the part about the late fee for the first time. Turns out people do read that stuff, and now I'm wondering how many forms I've made worse over the years trying to save a page.
