Hot take: the Portland airport carpet redesign was actually better than the original
Everyone in PDX acts like the 2015 carpet replacement was a crime, but I walked through concourse D twice in March and the new pattern holds up way better under that flat lighting. The old one looked like a bad hotel hallway after 10 years of foot traffic anyway. Did anyone actually prefer the original once it got worn down, or is this just nostalgia talking?
