Hit 100 upvotes on a photo of a horrible checkout kiosk screen
I posted a picture of a self-checkout screen at my local grocery store where the 'confirm payment' button was literally behind a glare from the overhead lights. You couldn't see it unless you leaned way over. It got 100 upvotes in a day, which surprised me because I usually just lurk. I guess bad design really does unite people. Anyone else find a public screen that's basically unusable in normal lighting?

My luck I'd lean over to see it and accidentally pay for someone else's groceries. Bad screens are the great equalizer.

100 upvotes in a day" actually means you got 100 total, not 100 per day. But yeah I feel you, bad design is like a universal language. I had a gas station pump once where the touchscreen was so washed out in the sun you had to guess where the buttons were.
