Rant: blew $400 on a color calibration tool and it sat in the box for 8 months
Finally used it last month on a client's packaging job and caught that my monitor was showing greens 12 points too warm, which explained why my last 3 print runs came back looking flat. $400 felt dumb at the time but it saved me from eating another reprint cost. Anyone else buy gear that sat forever before you actually needed it?
