The week my shed studio flooded twice and I'm still finding wet foam panels
Last Tuesday a storm rolled through and dumped about 3 inches of rain in an hour, and my little 10x12 shed studio took on water through the door gap. I spent that night pulling up my foam floor tiles and stacking them in the garage to dry. Then Thursday it happened again, so I finally dug a trench along the back wall and dumped 6 bags of gravel in it. My bass amp still smells like a wet dog and I'm scared to plug it in. Anyone here dealt with a shed that sits lower than the yard, and did a french drain actually fix it or am I just wasting a weekend?
Your trench and gravel sounds right but mine sat for months until I dug a dry well at the low corner and tied the gutter downspouts into it, which is what finally kept the water out. That bass amp though, let it dry a full week before you plug anything in.
