Overheard my neighbor's band through the wall and realized my soundproofing is a joke

I was setting up mics in my shed-turned-studio last Saturday when I heard my neighbor's garage band practicing crystal clear through two layers of drywall and Rockwool. Turns out I forgot to seal a gap around the door frame and it's basically a megaphone for noise. Anyone else find a cheap fix for dodging the low-end bleed-through in a backyard build?

Went through this exact thing last summer with my own shed build. Ended up shoving a bunch of old moving blankets along the bottom of the door and piling a few sandbags against it. Not pretty but it killed like 80% of that hollow boomy sound leaking out. Learned real fast that air gaps are the enemy, not the insulation itself.

Ha, so what you're saying is my shed is basically a giant drum with bad airflow and I should treat it like one? Guess I gotta raid my closet for those blankets I've been "accidentally" hoarding.
