My studio's floor used to be a real problem three years back

Three years ago, I put down cheap laminate in my 10x12 shed. It warped after one wet winter in Tacoma. Last month, I finally ripped it all out. Just finished laying down vinyl plank last week, and it feels like a proper room now. Anyone else have to redo their whole floor after a bad first try?

You kept that warped floor for three whole years? I would have lost my mind after the first season.

Proper room now" is exactly it, isn't it? That cheap flooring just makes a space feel temporary and wrong. I did the same thing in my basement with some bargain carpet tiles and had to tear it all up a year later. Getting the right floor down the second time makes you wonder why you ever tried to cut that corner.

Cried when I had to rip up my own cheap vinyl plank that never laid flat, felt like such a waste of money and time. Now I always tell people to just save up and do it right the first time.
