My neighbor built a studio with zero soundproofing and it's hilarious
Guy next door spent $3,000 on lumber and drywall for a backyard recording studio but used no insulation or acoustic treatment at all. I can hear his terrible beatboxing from my kitchen window clear as day. Has anyone else had to explain the difference between a shed and a studio to someone?

How much do you want to bet he just searched "how to build a studio" and only read the first step? I saw a video where a guy did the same thing, just four walls and a roof, and he was so confused when his recordings sounded like he was in a concrete box. The echo in there must be insane on top of the sound leaking out. It's a shame because he clearly put in the work and money, just not the right kind. Someone needs to gently slide a link about mass loaded vinyl under his door.
