I finally got my shed studio floor level after the concrete guys left it a half inch off, using a trick my dad showed me with a long 2x4 and a bag of sand mix.

After the pour dried wrong, I floated a thin layer of the mix over the low spots with that board as a screed, which saved me from tearing it all out and starting over. Anyone else had to fix a bad slab pour on a small build?
