Hit 1000 hours of studio time last night without realizing it

Was just cleaning up cables and checked my DAW stats. 1000 hours logged since I built the shed studio in March. That's like 40 days of my life in a 8x10 room. Has anyone else tracked actual usage time and been surprised by the number?

Whoa okay I used to be super skeptical about tracking hours like that, thought it was kinda obsessive. But honestly this kinda makes me want to check my own setup. I mean, seeing it in black and white really puts things in perspective.

The part that gets me is the "without realizing it" bit. Did you have a specific goal when you started in March, or were you just tracking for the sake of it? 1000 hours is a lot of time in a small room, even with good gear. I'm curious if the number changed how you feel about the work you did in there or if it just feels like a number at the end of the day.
