Tried one of those UV bug zappers for the backyard last summer

Spent $45 on a fancy one from Amazon and it basically just fried a few moths while mosquitoes ate me alive all evening. Anybody found an outdoor bug solution that actually works without dousing your whole yard in chemicals?

Man, get a box fan and a little dish soap, no joke. Put the fan on low pointing at the soapy water, and it'll trap way more mosquitoes than those zappers ever will.

Funny, I used to swear by those things but now I think they're pretty much useless.
