Switched to a metal rake for my gravel driveway and it's night and day

Used a plastic rake for 2 years and the tines kept bending every time I hit a patch of mud. Picked up a 36-inch metal landscape rake from the hardware store last month and it cuts through everything smooth in one pass. Anybody else have a tool swap that made a chore way easier?

Well I'll be. I always figured a metal rake would just gouge the gravel up worse but you've got me rethinking that. Might have to give one a try.

Good on you for keeping an open mind, it's easy to get set in your ways with this stuff. Hope it works out as well for you as it has for me.
