Stopped storing gas in my shed after the mower ate a $90 carb
Used to keep a 5 gallon can of ethanol gas sitting in my shed all winter and just dumped it in the mower come spring. Last March it gummed up the carb so bad I paid $90 for a rebuild, so now I run the tank dry in October and keep fresh gas in a sealed can out back. Anyone else switch to the canned stuff or is that just burning money?
