Serious question, did a guy at the ReStore in Akron teach me more about my shed door than 3 videos did?
Last Saturday I was digging through the ReStore in Akron looking for a cheap hinge when this older guy in a paint-stained cap noticed the measurements scribbled on my hand. I explained my shed door sags and sticks at the bottom corner, and he just said "your frame's out of square, no hinge on earth fixes that" and pulled out a folding square from his back pocket to prove it. He showed me how to check both diagonals, and mine were off by nearly half an inch over 6 feet. Ten minutes with a shim and a pry bar fixed a door that bugged me since March. What's the weirdest place you all have gotten better advice than from a tutorial?
