PSA: My neighbor looked at my workbench and said it was a fire hazard waiting to happen
He came over last month to borrow a wrench and just stared at my bench for a minute before telling me the pile of oily rags and sawdust near my outlet was asking for trouble. I was annoyed at first but he was right, I had three rags bunched up against the back wall where the bench grinder plugs in. I got a metal can for the rags and moved the bench out about a foot from the wall so I can sweep behind it now. Anyone else get called out by a neighbor and end up glad they said something?
