Neighbor said my shed foundation was too shallow

He pointed out the frost line here in Ohio is 36 inches and I only dug 18. Dug it all up and went deeper last weekend - anyone else get humbled by local code requirements?

Ha! Nothing like frost laws to ruin a nice Saturday with a shovel.

and that's why I keep telling people to wait until the ground actually thaws before they start poking around. I learned that the hard way after trying to plant a rose bush in March once and ended up with a bent shovel and a pile of frozen clumps.
