I finally replaced the garage door spring after it snapped

Big bang Tuesday morning around 6am. Scared the hell out of the dog. Had to call a buddy who does this stuff to help me swap it out. $40 for the spring, two hours of sweating. Anyone else ever try doing this solo without getting hurt?

Well I'll be. That is one of those jobs that looks simple but can go sideways real quick.
