Heard my neighbor say 'measure twice, cut once' and now I get it
I was out back last Tuesday helping my neighbor Tom frame a shed for his RV and he kept saying that old saying while I was about to notch a 2x4 wrong. I normally just eyeball cuts and hope for the best, but after watching him burn 20 minutes re-checking every board, the whole thing fit together perfect on the first go. Has anyone else had a basic garage phrase finally click after years of ignoring it, or is it just me being slow?
