Dropped $180 on a leaf vacuum and my back is still mad at me
Honestly I was so tired of raking the two big maples behind my garage in Columbus that I finally bought one of those walk behind leaf vacuums for $180 at the hardware store on High Street. It does suck up the leaves fast, I will give it that, but the bag fills up every 6 minutes and it weighs like 40 pounds so I am hunched over dragging this thing around. My neighbor saw me and just laughed and went back to his rake. After 2 hours I had maybe half the yard done and my lower back was screaming. Tbh I think I just paid $180 to make a chore I hate into a different chore I also hate. Has anyone found a setup that actually works on a half acre with big wet leaves, or am I just stuck raking like my dad did?
