The new trail markers in the state park are pink arrows now, and I ended up at a wedding reception instead of the summit. Had to explain why I was there with a backpack lol

Yikes, that's rough. I always check a GPS app now after getting lost once.

Wait, pink arrows? That seems like a really bad color for trail markers... they must blend right into the sunset or something. No wonder you ended up at a party.
