PSA: My DIY trail markers confused everyone
Used bright pink tape. A bird stole them. Now the path looks like a crime scene.

Man, my buddy tried something like that with orange ribbons last year. The wind blew them into the neighbor's yard and the whole area looked vandalized.

Used caution tape instead of ribbons once, lol. My neighbor thought there was a crime scene.

My cousin used pink survey tape to mark his garden beds. A week later the entire roll was wrapped around his fence posts like some weird art project. I tried using old shoelaces once, which just looked like my yard was crying. Honestly my attempts at marking anything usually end with me explaining myself to confused neighbors.
