Rant: that Tuesday when three squawk sheets stacked up before lunch
Last Tuesday I walked into the hangar at 6am with one squawk, a dead transponder in a 172. By 11am I had three more airplanes down and my coffee still full. The transponder ended up being a loose tray connector, easy fix, but the ADS-B box in the next plane had a firmware mismatch that ate two hours on the phone with tech support. Then the third one was just a blown breaker that someone had written up as an "intermittent electrical fault," so I spent 40 minutes chasing a ghost. I finally got all three back on the ramp by 4pm and honestly felt like I earned my pay that day. How do you folks handle it when the squawks pile up fast, do you triage by flight schedule or just knock out the quick ones first?
