Question about crimp tools for D-sub connectors. I used a cheap $40 generic one for a year, then switched to a proper $200 tool with the right die set. The difference in pin seating was night and day.

Cheap tools always cost more in the end.

Bought a budget drill that broke after two small projects. Had to replace it with a pro model anyway, so I paid twice. Learned my lesson on that one.

Which brand of crimp tool did you end up getting for the D-sub connectors? I'm looking at a few options myself.
