Best shift in 3 months happened Friday
Had a 737 that kept throwing a weird INS error code, spent 4 hours chasing a ground wire that was barely frayed in the wheel well. Fixed it on the first test flight and the captain actually thanked me over the radio. Anyone else have a repair that felt way too good when it finally worked?

Bet they grounded the whole fleet while you were troubleshooting.

Wow, a captain actually thanked you over the radio? That's like finding a unicorn in a hangar. I've fixed half a dozen planes and the best I got was a grunt and a thumbs up from the ramp. You sure you didn't accidentally fix it in a dream?
