Snapped a bleeder screw on a 2012 Civic and had to explain it to the customer
Last Tuesday I was doing a brake flush on a 2012 Civic with about 140k miles and the rear passenger bleeder screw snapped off flush with the caliper. I hit it with PB Blaster the night before and used a 6 point socket, but it still twisted right off on me. Ended up pulling the caliper and drilling it out with a left hand bit, took me almost two hours I did not plan for. The customer was cool about it since I called before doing the extra work, but I ate the labor because it felt like my fault. Now I keep a torch handy and warm them up first instead of guessing. Anyone got a trick for stubborn bleeders that does not involve drilling, because I am tired of this happening.
