Shop visit changed my mind about impact wrenches

I stopped by a buddy's garage in Phoenix last weekend and watched him zip off lugnuts with a Milwaukee M18 Fuel. I've always been a pneumatic guy because I thought battery stuff had no guts. But he let me test it on a seized truck lug and it snapped it loose like nothing. Has anyone else made the switch from air to battery and actually been happy with it?

Yeah snapping bolts is a tool issue not a battery one...

Phoenix heat kills batteries fast-@the_diana has a point about tool issues being different.

Oh man, I was the same way - swore by my old air impact for years. Then my compressor died in the middle of a brake job and my neighbor loaned me his battery powered DeWalt. I felt like a traitor using it but dang if it didn't make me look like I knew what I was doing. The torque on these new ones is ridiculous, I actually ended up snapping a bolt because I got too confident. That's on me though, not the tool.
