PSA: My impact gun died mid-job on a lug nut today
I was rotating tires on a 2018 F-150 this morning and halfway through the third wheel my Ingersoll Rand 2235 just quit. No warning, no weird noise, just stopped spinning. I had one lug nut left on each wheel so I broke out the breaker bar and finished by hand in the driveway. Took me 30 extra minutes and a lot of cussing. Turns out the brushes were worn down to almost nothing after about two years of daily use. Has anyone else had a battery or electric tool fail at the worst possible time?

Wait, were you using the 2235 that's the corded electric model or the air powered one?

Actually I was using the electric one. But honestly I think the air powered version is overrated, people just like it because it's what the old timers used and they don't want to admit the corded one does the job just fine.
