My uncle said to always check the ground first, and he was right

He's been a mechanic for 40 years and told me '9 times out of 10, an electrical gremlin is a bad ground.' I had a 2012 F-150 in the bay with a flickering dash and weird codes. I was about to start chasing wires for hours. I remembered his advice, cleaned up the main ground strap near the firewall, and the whole thing cleared up in 20 minutes. Saved me a huge headache. Anyone got other simple fixes that always seem to work?

Sounds like my diagnostic skills need a tune-up too, lol.

Man, my buddy had a weird engine stutter that disappeared after he just swapped the old spark plugs.
