My old impact wrench gave out halfway through a brake job yesterday

I was swapping rotors on a 2018 F-150, and the thing just stopped turning. It made a weird grinding noise, then nothing. I had to finish the job with a breaker bar and a lot of elbow grease, which added like an extra hour. I've had that Milwaukee M18 for about five years, so I guess it had a good run. What's a solid, tough impact you guys have switched to after your old one died?

That DeWalt is a solid choice. The extra power really helps on bigger jobs, especially with rusty bolts.

My old M18 did the same thing last year. I switched to the DeWalt DCF891B and it's been a beast, especially for truck lug nuts. The extra torque over the old Milwaukee is noticeable on stubborn stuff.

Man I feel your pain. My old one quit on me mid-bolt too.
