Just realized my torque wrench was off by 15 ft-lbs for 6 months
Chatted with a calibration guy at a shop in Denver who said most guys never check their click-type wrenches, and now I'm wondering how many head bolts I've been torquing wrong - has anyone here actually sent theirs in for recalibration?

Nah I don't bother, if it still clicks it's probably close enough for me.

That line about overthinking it really got me... I'm the exact same way. I'll sit there staring at two nearly identical things for way too long, trying to figure out which one is "better" when it probably doesn't matter at all. Every time I finally just pick one and move on, I realize I was making it way harder than it needed to be. Just picking and going with it feels so much better than that endless back and forth in your head.
